We Made it to France, Now what?

Hello, Art Friends!

Or should I say bonjour?

After many months of prep, packing, and moving, we have finally made it to France, but now what?

I’ve been taking some time to set up my new studio here and get everything in order, but I am so excited to get started on creating more art and finding new places around me to get inspired by, and I want you all to come with me!

One of the things I really want to focus on this year is posting regularly on my YouTube channel. I want to show what life as an artist is really like here, from the ups to the downs. What it’s like running an art business in a foreign country, the language barrier, navigating the laws, and finding ways to take inspiration from what’s around you. So if you’re interested, make sure you find me there under DrawGabeDraw and subscribe! I have my first video coming out this Friday (Youtube thumbnail below).

I’ll be posting all the behind-the-scenes photos on here and maybe some stories that might not have made it into the videos, so stay tuned for that.

Besides the channel, there are a few more things I’ll be working on. One of them is creating more workshops for you guys (both free and some more extensive). I have a few ideas, but would love to hear from you. I’ve created a short questionnaire of a few possibilities here. If you have some time to fill it out, that would be amazing!

Lastly, I want to thank everyone who’s supported me through purchasing something on the website or ordering commissions. I’ll have to pause sales on there for a short period of time until I figure out shipping. As soon as I do, you all will be the first to know! I am still taking digital commissions, be it for games, books, or your DnD characters. If you have an idea, feel free to email me!
