Welcome to my (first) monthly newsletter!

I wanted to start by thanking everyone who has signed up this month, and take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Gabriel Ribeiro. I’m a Brazilian watercolor Illustrator and Author, currently working on a few different books and art projects. I’ve created this newsletter to tell you more about them! So if you’re a fan of fantasy art and comics or a lover of drawing and watercolor, this is the place for you!

Every month, I will be sharing the new book and zine projects I am working on alongside art process and some tips and tricks, as well as classes, workshops, both digital and in-person, and Conventions and Art Fairs that I’ll be attending throughout the year.

Mushroom Village - August 25

This month, we announced the winner of The Mushroom Village original painting above! Congratulations to CSJA! (check your inbox if this is you!!). 

In other August news, I went camping on Bakers Island off of Salem (check it out if you are local to New England) which inspired some of the sketches below. It was an awesome weekend where we got to go to the lighthouse, camp in beautiful weather and of course, explore some of the art shops in Salem.

I also have been busy working on some new merch that I will be bringing at shows soon and on the shop, and preparing for a big, exciting announcement (tbd as to when this will be)!

Also, for those wanting to see more of my work in person, I will post my upcoming schedules in this newsletter. It is always so lovely getting to meet people in person, so do come say hi if you are nearby.
