September Newsletter
Hello, Art Friends!
Thanks for sticking around for another monthly update
This month was a crazy market month so far, but a fun one as I have been testing out a new set up. From SOWA to Brighton to Granite City Comic Con, we have been busy. I want to thank everyone who came by to say hi and picked up some art! On top of that I’ve been hard at work on some new merch, and with inktouber coming up next month, I won’t be putting down my pens for a while!
First things first, I’m happy to announce that I’ve officially started inking a few pages for my graphic novel, Welcome to Huckleberry Hollow! I’ll be painting them in full watercolor and getting them ready to show to agents and publishers over the next few months. It’s a bit daunting, but I am glad to be laying down the first stones. If you are interested in the process, I’ll be posting more videos about it on my YouTube channel along with some background story telling! So stay posted to learn what this quaint old village is hiding…
Also, It’s Inktouber month next month!!
Inktouber is something I’ve been wanting to do for a while. If you are new to the concept, it is a challenge where you ink a drawing each day throughout October.
I will be bringing my own twist, and introduce you to the folks who live in the village of Huckleberry Hollow. So everyday you’ll meet a new resident and get to learn a little bit about their backstory while I ink them in.
Folks like Quincy here below; As one of the Town Curious his job is to learn about all things magical and help teach the next generation. That, and making sure the village is safe for all its inhabitants.
Also New This Month
We’ve been working on some of these for a while now, so I’m really proud to show off these new designs just in time for the fall! We just love how they turned out, so make sure to check them out online!
Playing Card Enamel Pin - Finn the Faun
To celebrate my original artwork of Finn & the Foul roots getting turned into a token for one of my favorite card games, we created these beautifully detailed Fin playing card enamel pins. They are 1.75” soft enamel pins with pink bronze backing. Permanent backings available with the purchase!
October Schedule
